Welcome to Medellín Párchate. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the booking of our luxury rentals and tours. By accessing this website and booking our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full.

1. Booking & Payment Policy

To secure a reservation for either a property rental or a tour, a valid payment method is required. Our standard payment terms are as follows:

• A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required at the time of booking to secure your dates.
• The remaining 50% balance must be paid at least 8 days prior to your arrival or tour date.
• For bookings made within 8 days of the arrival/tour date, full payment is required upfront.
• All payments are processed securely. We are not responsible for bank fees or exchange rate differences applied by your financial institution.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our operational scheduling:

• Cancellations made 30+ days before arrival: 100% refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made 15 to 29 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total booking cost.
• Cancellations made within 8 days of arrival: Non-refundable.
• Right of Withdrawal (Derecho de Retracto): In accordance with Colombian Consumer Protection Law (Ley 1480 de 2011), you have the right to cancel your purchase within five (5) business days following the transaction, provided the service has not yet been rendered.

3. Property & Tour Rules (Code of Conduct)

To ensure a premium and safe experience for everyone, all guests must adhere to the following rules:

• No Drugs: The possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate cancellation of services without a refund, and reporting to local authorities.
• Property Care: Guests are liable for any damages caused to the rental properties or vehicles during their stay/tour. A security deposit may be held and returned upon checkout inspection.
• Respect for Locals: We expect our guests to treat local guides, drivers, and neighbors with utmost respect. Noise levels in residential rentals must be kept to a minimum after 10:00 PM.

4. Liability & Assumption of Risk

While we take every precaution to ensure your safety during our tours and stays, travel inherently involves some risks. By booking with Medellín Párchate, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for your own travel insurance, including health and accident coverage.
• Medellín Párchate is not liable for personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss sustained during our tours or at our rental properties, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.

5. Privacy & Data Protection (Ley 1581 de 2012)

Your privacy is important to us. In accordance with Colombia's Habeas Data Law (Ley 1581 de 2012), any personal information collected during the booking process (names, passports, emails, payment details) will be used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling your travel arrangements and providing concierge support. We will never sell your data to third parties.
